YAML to CSV
Turn a YAML list into a spreadsheet-ready CSV.
Several documents come out as an array.
address.city becomes its own column.
Paste YAML. Anchors, multi-line scalars and multi-document streams all work.
YAML to CSV
Paste YAML and get a spreadsheet. A CSV is a list of rows, and a YAML document usually keeps its list one level down under a key, so this finds the list inside the document and uses it - naming the key it chose in the status line rather than guessing silently.
Nested keys become dotted columns
An office.city two levels down gets its own column. Lists of plain values are joined into a single cell, because a cell cannot hold a list. Turn off flatten nested objects and nested values are written as JSON inside one cell instead, which is what you want if the destination will parse them back out.
Anchors and multi-document streams
Anchors and aliases are resolved before the rows are built, so a repeated block appears in full on every row that references it. A stream of several --- documents is read as a list of documents; untick the multi-document option to read only the first.
